Season 3 is officially here and this first episode was less of a typical livestream and more of a full reset. A chance to catch everyone up on where things stand: the rebrand, the career updates, the current astrology, and where this season is actually headed.

🌀 Why the Rebrand?

The series started as Astrology & JavaScript because that's what it was — live coding in JavaScript, building astrology tools in real time. But so much has changed in the last year and a half. AI is now a core part of how we build. The tools have shifted. The conversation has expanded beyond just code.

Astrology & Tech is a bigger umbrella, one that makes room for AI tooling, open-source ecosystems, product development, and the intersection of ancient frameworks with modern systems thinking. The core intention hasn't changed: it's still about using these tools to understand yourself and navigate what's happening.

🪐 Current Astrology: What's Happening Right Now

This episode went deep on the collective transits that are actively shaping the tech landscape and honestly, everything else too.

Uranus into Gemini After seven years in Taurus disrupting our values, resources, and financial systems, Uranus is finally moving into Gemini. This is a transit about communication, information, and the speed at which both move. Expect: more tools, faster, with less filtering. The printing press happened under a similar transit and the tension this time will be around who controls the narrative and how we discern what's actually worth our attention.

Pluto in Aquarius Already reshaping the tech industry at a structural level. The collective changes we're seeing AI dominance, layoffs, open-source shifts, questions about what work even means are very much Pluto in Aquarius doing its thing.

Neptune in Aries + Saturn in Aries Neptune moved out of Pisces (goodbye Hollywood-era illusions) and into Aries, bringing the dream or the illusion down to the individual level. Saturn in Aries adds structure to that individual agency. Together: you can build something, but you have to do it with intention and real resources, not just speed.

The opportunity: Gemini and Aquarius trine each other and they sextile to Aries. That means the potential is real but sextiles require you to actively engage. These transits won't just deliver results. You have to meet them.

🤖 Project Updates: What's Been Built

Bluesky Moon Cycle Bot, now fully live and stable. Daily moon phase posts go out around 9 AM ET. Reply with your rising sign and the bot tells you which house the moon is transiting and how it may be influencing you. It also posts daily aspects with applying/separating indicators.

The bot is built on the Vercel AI SDK and AT Protocol, deployed via Fly.io, and is open source on GitHub. Mercury retrograde in Pisces earlier this year was the window to go back and fix it and it's been running clean since.

Human Design Gate Tool, a reference tool for all 64 gates is in progress. More details coming this season.

Meridian, a product in development built for astrology enthusiasts, astrologers, and writers who like to track their thoughts. More on this as it gets closer to launch.

🦄 What Season 3 Is Actually About

Three pillars:

Astrology continuing to track collective transits (Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune and Saturn in Aries) and how they map to real decisions in real careers. Not generic horoscopes pattern recognition you can actually use.

Human Design: going deeper into mechanics, gates, channels, and how understanding your design gives you better agency over your decisions. Especially useful right now when generic career advice is more likely to work against you than for it.

Entrepreneurship: what it means to build something in this era: the tools available, the ethics of using AI in esoteric spaces, the tension between building fast and building well, and what sustainable independent work actually looks like.

The season will feature guests who are actively living at this intersection not just talking about it.
